Headed by our Estimating Director Craig Dowson, the team of estimators is able to provide detailed quotations from either drawings and specifications or from bills of quantities. They can help clients build up specifications to match any budget and provide in depth information relating to performance specifications and guarantee periods.
If brought into the design team early enough they can help co-ordinate cost plans and even offer advice on general detailing of the main support structure.
This works as a co-ordinated team effort with the Estimating office providing the cost breakdown and the basic design criteria that has been developed through the tendering process and the Contracts team (with Paul Pattison – our Contracts Director at the helm) fine tuning the input from the drawing office prior to the construction drawings being issued to the client and materials being ordered for delivery to site.
prior to work starting on site our Contracts team will co-ordinate our works to synchronise our activities with all other trades working on site. All our managers and supervisors are directly employed and carry the necessary level of qualification for the role that they undertake.
We also employ an external health and safety advisor who carries out regular site audits to ensure that the health, safety and welfare of all on site is monitored and reported back to our Managing Director.
